Many businesses use a Vision Statement to describe their future. Others use a Purpose or Mission Statement. Many use two or more of these, and others mix together all three. The Vivid Vision process uses a structure process to map out in great detail, what the future is for the business, in several areas such as customers, product, markets, people etc. If we have a detailed picture of what the future will look like, it’s then easier to craft a strategic plan to implement actions that will achieve this Vivid Vision. The end result is much more tangible than a simple statement – it’s a set of very detailed descriptions that can be acted on; it provides clarity and can be used to inspire and influence several different audiences (staff, customers, suppliers, stakeholders etc.).
